We all have them. We live for them. Guilty Pleasures!! And today’s guilty
pleasure was in the form of chocolate, which we at Lup HQ consumed at The 8th
annual Chocolate Show like kids in a candy store – ok, big kids, and not a
store since there was a plethora of free samples – but you get the idea. Among the array of tasty treats were also beautifully crafted chocolate sculptures, Food Network demonstrations, chocolate gowns, and an adult lounge offering sweet cocktails courtesy of Makers Mark.
No we are not leaving the fashion world behind to begin a
new life of eating chocolate. As fashion
mavens we were stunned by the gorgeous collaboration gown made by Austin
Scarlett, Project Runway season 1, and chocolatier Robert J. Twardzik. With our experienced palettes (that is the
nice way of saying girls who eat way too much chocolate) we favored dark
chocolate creations by Chocolate Moderne, and no-preservative truffles from
Romaincos, famous for having only 38 calories! It was a delicious day!
(The Chocolate Show is taking place November 9-11 at The
Metropolitan Pavilion, and is open to the public.)
